Most of their guys are seniors and I don't think have eligibility left (you never know nowadays). The options seem to be.
Falslev (JR), stayed through the last coaching change and from Utah, probably not following Calhoun.
Templin (JR), also stayed through the last coaching change, not from Utah, probably not good enough to start at the Big 12 level anyway.
Elamin (FR), the most likely option, don't think he'd be a guaranteed starter here, but with some development could get there. Would be a nice high energy bench guy if not.
No one else who has eligibility left is a real contributor, which makes it seem unlikely they'd contribute much here.Comment

Calhoun we came up with the game plan and they executed. Wow so refreshing after WM. They love Calhoun.Comment

Nick Van Exel: “Calhoun is going to be great walking the sidelines at UC. Offense is great. Lots of ball/body movement and paint touches. And he gets the history of the program and understands that the UC vs x is a rivalry and not just another game.”Comment

I want them to lose to Arizona.
Makes the timeline nice and clean for him to transition to coaching here. Don't want him to be coaching in the NCAA tournament instead of scouring the transfer portal. A deep run may also make him more expensive (or even allow other spots to open up that might compete with us for him) and Elamin harder to get here.
I'm not concerned though, Arizona is really good, I expect them to beat Utah State with relative ease.Comment

Was Pat Kelsey a walk on for UC in the 90s? I went to high school with him. Wish I could talk him into leaving Louisville.Josh Rexhausen
