I broke my usual and watched this game. I wanted to see what tOSU could do against Dixon. Dixon's defense was great in the first half, but Diebler for tOSU made second half adjustments on the attack. WM failed to do so. If it wasn't for that Tilly slowing down for a stretch, I believe tOSU would have won. Regardless, the adjustments were made against Dixon. Dixon is a good coach but so is Diebler. WM isn't.

I was favoring TCU going into the Tournament but gave in and picked OSU in my bracket, which made me have a rooting interest in the Buckeyes.

Great game -- great idea to have an 8/9 as the opener.

People roasting Diebler for that last play drawn up.

I would have to agree, but then again a long pass can be intercepted or be caught off balance. It was a tough call. I blame that Tilly for slowing down running down the court resulting in being out of position on defense and absolutely no effort on the subsequent rebound. A 4 point turnaround at around the 16 minute mark He should not have been that tired.

It would be interesting to see the stats on end of game plays length of the court with less than 5 seconds left. It has to be a low percentage

Can we talk to High Point's Flynn Clayman? Rim and threes all day, and they control the glass and the turnover battle.

Siena 43 - Duke 32 at the half.

              Wow, Wisconsin just lost.

Siena is still holding onto a lead nearly 3/4 into the game versus Duke -- and has yet to make a substitution.

To be fair, Duke isn't very deep right now but Siena has only played 5 guys through 27 mins.

Win or lose, Siena coach Gerry McNamara is making a good case to return to his alma mater (Syracuse)

Siena got screwed. Not within this game but by receiving the last 16 seed against the first 1 seed. They should have been at least an 11 seed. Against anyone but Duke, they would have advanced.

I watched some of the game, it looked to me like Duke committed about 25 fouls in the second half and got called for 4.

I did not want to get into the officiating. I just wanted to comment about how good Siena looked. They had a pretty good team and should have been seeded higher. Too much is put on the Big 10, the SEC and Duke.

eidt: Now that I think about it, who knows how the selection committee is made up? If I recall, each conference gets money for each team that is selected to the tourney. Also, each conference gets money for each win that the conference gets. Is the selection made up to assure that the power conferences and schools get extra bids and at higher seeding where the lower conferences get fewer bids and worse seeding? Yes, of course, I want the Big 12 to receive as many bids as possible and at the highest seeds possible. But I have to start believing that the system is rigged against teams like Siena and others for them to fail. Why should the B1G 10 and the SEC receive 9 or 10 bids because we know that the last few teams have no chance in winning it all. I am sorry for the rant but I do like the underdog storyline. Call me a skeptic but I see more money going to the rich. Maybe there should be a system set up that if you are an eight seed or better and lose the first round, your conference owes money. lol.

                        • No. 11 VCU and No. 6 NC are tied at 77 with 49 seconds left in OT. Michigan took care or Howard 87-65. It looks like Texas is going to beat BYU but no surprise since BYU is missing their best player. Vandy won by 10. No. 7 St. Mary's is down by 20 in the second half against A&M. Other winners: Louisville, MSU, Nebraska, Arkansas. VCU won in OT against NC.
