That is the official allotment. The thing is money does the talking and just a few schools bring in the money that are distributed to all in various measures. I think we know who sets the procedures. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Who carries the clout Ohio State or Ball state. I think we can plainly see that by who is picked to go to the various championship tourneys. TV needs marquee matchups. Who will many watch this year Texas Tech v, UC or East Carolina v. Charlotte. Who gets the games on prestige networks.

I am probably wrong in the make up of board members but I stand by the premise that upper eschelon schools rule and vote on matters that benefit only them and not college athletics as a whole. The state of college athletics wouldn't find itself in this mess after COVID if it wasn't otherwise.

So, basically the courts say NCAA can’t make rules on eligibility of athletes, and can’t stop athletes from gambling. There really are no rules anymore. The judge today said the athletes would suffer irreparable harm, but the NCAA would suffer no harm. I don’t think that’s right.

Bad news, at least temporarily. MJ Collins is ineligible again due to a stay in the Colorado ruling that made all the 2022 players eligible. Appeal coming by the players. Collins himself urging people to keep the faith and doesn't seem too bothered by it.

We have added Javontae Campbell formerly of BGSU per On3. Campbell was the MAC defensive player of the year last season and led the country in steals.

Javontae Campbell posted a 5.7 BPM last season. He's a high usage distributor (28% usage, 30% assist rate) and an excellent defender (3.1 DBPM, 4.4% steal rate). In line with most of our transfer class, Campbell attacks the basket and gets to the line a ton with a whopping 50% free throw rate. He shot 200 free throws! That's exactly twice as many as Day Day and Jizzle combined. And he got to the rim 287 times with only 16% of those assisted. Exactly half as many rim attempts as our entire roster last year and twice as many as our best attacker Baba Miller. That's incredible.

Needless to say, I love this pickup. Campbell instantly becomes our top BPM player.

If Collins ends up eligible my starting 5 would be Campbell, Carson, Collins, Tejada, Allenspach.
