"Myles Colvin scores 25 points on 7-of-11 from 3-point range"
I hope that he stays that hot. However, I suspect that it had something to do with being guarded by a smaller, slower and less physical player.

You might be 100% on that. It shows that he can drill the open 3. You know CJC is working hard planning to get him open. What I like the best was I heard there was really good ball movement even without the possible starting PG. Yes, it was against an inferior team, but they moved the ball when they may have had some easy shots. So far so good.

That is an amazing statement by Dan Hoard. He has been around for a long time. I really trust his assessment of anything concerning UC sports. We will see if that offense will turn into wins. Let's be clear here, with the addition of MJ Collins, this UC team is loaded. This Cincinnati team has as much, or more, offensive talent than I have ever seen with a UC team. However, UC was outscored in the 2nd half against Calgary. No worries. That happens when one team runs away with the game in the 1st half. Nevertheless, this UC team may be very hard to beat.

Any ball movement is a welcome sight other than jacking up the first shot as soon as crossing the mid court line. Nothing says I know nothing except shooting the ball more than firing up shots with 15 or more seconds on the shot clock. jmho

This could be relevant to UC, if MJ Collins plays this upcoming season (if the anonymous selection committee member would follow through):

From Jeff Goodman of thefieldof68.com re players being granted extended eligibility via the court systems:

One member of the NCAA tournament selection committee said, "The NCAA may not be able to threaten teams that use players deemed ineligible by the NCAA, but I can penalize them and so can other committee members if they want, whether it's by seeding or even not including them in the field."

That will just lead to more lawsuits, in fact after that comment any team left out may indeed sue. The last thing the committee wants is to have their selection process dragged out publicly in the courts. Don’t be surprised if somebody walks this back.

A contraction would need to be as anonymous as the original comment was. No committee member was named in this.

I doubt that any blueblood team would ever be left out for that reason.
