The B1G sure as heck won't, but the SEC is a very, very remote possibility if the SEC REALLY wants to get into Ohio and challenge the B1G. Very unlikely, but possible.Originally posted by blackattack View PostThe B1G and SEC aren't going to take us.RIP #12 Greg Cook (1946-2012)

"Make no mistake, Louisville has become a big-time all-around program. Its football and men’s basketball coaches are among the highest-paid in the nation. Its athletic revenue ranks in the nation’s top 20. In fact, the case can be made that Louisville might have been a better overall fit than West Virginia if the Big XII had truly capped its membership at 10. It’s not a long walk to get from “should have invited them too” to “should have invited them instead.”
Certainly, Louisville would have been closer to the existing Big XII footprint than West Virginia. And travel is an issue that WVU officials were already bringing up less than a year after joining the league."
I think that the Big12 and WVU may be having buyers remorse. The Big12 may want to add a dance partner for WVU. Could that be UC?

Yeah, I saw the same thing. I don't see where the GOR would stand up in it's entirety in a court of law. Just like the exit fee and any other contract, they are made to be broken and negotiated to satisfaction of both sides.Originally posted by cpawstoney View Post
I could see the B1G going after Missouri and Kansas. Makes sense for Iowa and Nebraska rivalries.RIP #12 Greg Cook (1946-2012)

From day 1 I said WVU was going to regret that move for those reasons. I could see UC and..................Memphis added to the B12 to bridge that space. Memphis FB sucks, but they would help out immensely in BB. The B12 would have been smart to grab us and UL to go with WVU.Originally posted by bearcatbret View PostRIP #12 Greg Cook (1946-2012)
