The SEC vote for the admission of Texas and OU is set for tomorrow according to WFAA TV in Dallas.

Oklahoma is probably a sure thing. The question is will there be a 4th no on Texas. I don’t expect that but we might get surprised

Praying the others listen to A&M, Mizzou, and Arkansas. While it is likely that the SEC might well add Ok State if Texass is denied entry. One can hope they raid ACC if no Texass. Let spots open up for UC

In that scenario wouldn't it be likely Texas goes to the Big Ten? Eitherway, there are 2-4 spots in the Big12.

If one goes to each, then both SEC and B!G may each expand by 1 more. Say SEC pairs up OK St with OU, but the B!G has money/resources to pull in Virginia or UNC. Just hoping for a quicker scenario whereby UC could join ACC. UC to SEC is not bloody likely and the chance B!G takes UC is nil.

If 2-4 teams leave the big 12, UC definitely don't want to join those that remain in that conference. It would be better to stay in the AAC. But I'm hoping that the ACC puts out some invites!

              Pete Thamel:
              - Breaking: The Big 12 has sent a "cease and desist" letter to ESPN. The letter demands ESPN end "all actions that may harm the conference and its members and that it not communicate with the Big 12 Conference's existing members.... 1/2
              - or any NCAA conference regarding the Big 12 conference's members, possible conference realignment or potential financial incentive or outcomes related to possible conference realignment." More soon on

ESPN doesn’t care. They’ll do it anyway. We’ve seen that from them before

Here’s a link to the cease and desist :

.@SINow has obtained the cease and desist letter that the Big 12 sent to ESPN. In it, commissioner Bob Bowlsby says that ESPN has reached out to at least one of the eight remaining Big 12 members in an attempt to convince the school to leave in wake of the Texas and OU exit.

Dennis Dodd is reporting that one of the conference ESPN conspired with is the AAC where the conference would take 3-5 teams and destroy the Big 12 .

per McMurphy that would eliminate the Big 12 Grant of Rights and save ESPN $1.06 billion.

Apparently I had it right. Big 12 is accusing ESPN of tortious interference. Get your popcorn. It’s gonna get ugly.

You know as long as ESPN keeps wagging dollars around to these greedy AD's they won't stop. They are merely aligning the deck to assure that the same fistful of schools are in the championship race every year. That's the ramifications of legalized gambling.

Ok hivemind. Let’s assume the AAC is taking 3-5 teams and KU and ISU are not available. Who do you want?

I love that term, tortuous interference. It's like a very seedy word that perfectly describes ESPN.

Ok St, Iowa St, Kansas, and K State. I don’t think KU and ISU are off the table.
