Looks like the staff is working on some glaring needs here. Clarke is a 3 star tackle who had offers from MAC schools before choosing UC this afternoon. He decommitted from Western Michigan this past Friday.
Picked up a lineman today. As mentioned elsewhere, Pastoriza decommitted from CMU yesterday. He flipped to UC today. The staff is loading up on OL right now in both the 2024 and 2025. This was a very late addition to 2024 and there's one more OL offer for that class out there still.
He's 6'7 225 according to his Hudl profile which is sometimes out of date. 247 lists him at 250 and a 3 star recruit. Gonna have to beef up a bit but he's got the height. Looks like he may already have put on 25 lbs if those two stats were correct at some point.
I hope he pans out, but one would think our flips would be more than from the Sun Belt. Statt must be desperate. I hope the Cats will get some quality transfers and not lose much. It will be an interesting off season.
Great pickup. This is a big young man, and will likely grow bigger in our monster factory. Don't discount that we flipped him fromCoastal Carolina. Jamey Chadwell was/is a great recruiter and he started the relationship with current recruits before moving to Liberty.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.
Remember, ratings now are based on Jr. year. The fact he was offered 9/19 tells me they saw something this season that suggested he’s better than previously thought.
Zane is the older brother of newly committed QB Zeb Kinsey, who is in the class of '25. Zane has played either a year or a partial year at Walsh University up north. He has 4 years remaining since he's transferring up a couple divisions. He projects as a slot back but I'm not entirely sure he's going to be on scholarship. He was an honorable mention all-state RB in High School with almost 1000 yards his Sr. year at Toronto HS.
