Maybe I could contact to ask how many tickets were sold? I am thinking about going there, but I have a mandatory work schedule on Dec. 31. Grrrr... To be a true diehard Bearcat fan, I will have to skip my work and get fired so that I can go to the Liberty Bowl game.... Any thought?

I have the same problem. Offered to work a double for a guy. My luck I would call off sick ,and then be shown on national tv thirty times. Stupid job getting in the way of my fun.

Remember that Vandy has a much shorter drive to Memphis and I suspect that there is a sizable Vandy alumni base in Memphis. Kudos to them for selling their tickets. I am confident that UC will have a strong presence.

I don't have a negative agenda -- it's just looking at the situation objectively. There have been no updates about ticket sales (you would expect the university to be crowing about sales numbers or touting the need to "act now" before the allotment is sold) and now another e-mail comes offering an inducement to purchase. That suggests, to me, slow sales.

If he has been a season ticket holder for 30 years as he says, he must not give anything to UCATS to get end zone seats @ PBS. We are Tier 4 donors and have been season ticket holders since graduation over 20 years ago and received tickets @ PBS on the 35.

I also bought an extra ticket from UC, that will not be used, and paid the $15 "order fee"; so in a sense, I sent the University of Cincinnati $65 for nothing.

About my PBS tickets. I give UCATS $200 per year, along with the purchase of 3 season tickets. My tickets were in the endzone; tickets so bad at that angle, and down that low, I could not see the entire field. So to fully enjoy the game, I had not choice but to go the top section, in the 4th row from the very top; even though my ticket cost $56, I got the honor of sitting in $20 seats. Yes I could see the field, but I almost needed binaculars.

So I ask you, why as I drive to Memphis w/ 5 friends, to take a chance on equally rotten tickets, when I can go support the Bearcats, and know my butt will be on the 40 yard line????

There's it is! For another $100 to UCATS I believe you'd be in Tier 4and you could have sat on the sides like we did @ PBS. I guess you get what you pay for.

To anyone who has never been to Memphis-- It's a great town. Wonderful food, music and people. 7.5 hour drive or 1.5 hour flight from CVG. I'll see you at the Rendezvous-- before or after the game or both...
