Maybe I could contact to ask how many tickets were sold? I am thinking about going there, but I have a mandatory work schedule on Dec. 31. Grrrr... To be a true diehard Bearcat fan, I will have to skip my work and get fired so that I can go to the Liberty Bowl game.... Any thought?

Remember that Vandy has a much shorter drive to Memphis and I suspect that there is a sizable Vandy alumni base in Memphis. Kudos to them for selling their tickets. I am confident that UC will have a strong presence.

There have been no updates about ticket sales (you would expect the university to be crowing about sales numbers or touting the need to "act now" before the allotment is sold) and now another e-mail comes offering an inducement to purchase. That suggests, to me, slow sales.

Anyone else find it funny that the guy who started this thread posted in another thread that he did not buy his tickets from UC?Our goal is for someone to be asked, what's the best program in the nation? And the answer be: Cincinnati.-Mick Cronin

If he has been a season ticket holder for 30 years as he says, he must not give anything to UCATS to get end zone seats @ PBS.We are Tier 4 donors and have been season ticket holders since graduation over 20 years ago and received tickets @ PBS on the 35.

About my PBS tickets. I give UCATS $200 per year, along with the purchase of 3 season tickets. My tickets were in the endzone; tickets so bad at that angle, and down that low, I could not see the entire field. So to fully enjoy the game, I had not choice but to go the top section, in the 4th row from the very top; even though my ticket cost $56, I got the honor of sitting in $20 seats. Yes I could see the field, but I almost needed binaculars.
So I ask you, why as I drive to Memphis w/ 5 friends, to take a chance on equally rotten tickets, when I can go support the Bearcats, and know my butt will be on the 40 yard line????
So there.

P.S. Subflea, it appears you started (again) the name calling. R U going to send UC an extra $65?Last edited by Bearcat Chris; 12-11-2011, 10:18 AM."A witness to the pinnacle of UC Football, the 2020 and 2021 seasons... not likely to ever happen again!"

We bought our 4 bowl game (same as our season ticket count) tickets through UC supporting our athletic department versus the bowl committee.RIP #12 Greg Cook (1946-2012)

Agreed, but don't you think the loyalty of owning season tickets since the early 80's should be worth something?
