A preview but what I found interesting is that CLF is just 6 wins from being the all-time winningest UC coach. Football Set for Season Debut at No. 19 Arkansas on Saturday - University of Cincinnati Athletics (gobearcats.com)

My suspicion is that UC signed the contract with Arkansas many years ago, before UC was a respected, national team. As a result, I bet the refs will be SEC refs, which is not good. Today, UC would never sign a contract with an OOC power team, w/o stipulating neutral refs.

UC will play like they played against UCLA few years ago and come on top with 31-24.

Refs do not have near the bearing on a game they once did with instant replay. Arkansas in the past has not been happy with SEC refs themselves. Mistakes will likely determine the outcome of this game, unless UC is not up to the task in the trenches aka Alabama.

For anyone trying to listen on radio tomorrow, the broadcast will jump from from WLW to WEBN at 6:10 due to a Reds game. I’m not sure how that will affect streaming listeners but if I find out, I’ll post it.

Starting center is out today and maybe the season.

Bryant seems nervous. Can’t hit wide open receivers. Kicking woes carry over from last year.

I see the answer to the question about our kicker has been answered. We should be winning this game.

Gino sees the nerves and is going with those short passes. Now a bomb but a miss. UC can stand with these guys

I’m sorry, but Bryant isn’t the answer. Play Prater. You may lose a few games but it will prepare him for the future.
