    Bowling Green for Bumphis

Hate to be negative here, but getting 70 tackles in DII, is like getting 20 tackles in DI.... perhaps something like a HS comparison of Moeller versus Roger Bacon.

We need more P5 transfers, who can make a serious impact this fall.

        • IMHO it looks like basketball has gotten far more out of the portal than football.

Wonder if he regrets leaving. Why bother to go through all of that to play a measly four games? I was sad to see him go, but I don't feel any compassion for him now.

From what I understand, he didn't leave. He was shown the door. With the help of a small cadre of players, the staff cleaned house of the malcontents.

That is correct. There were a bunch of Fickell holdovers that were locker room problems. Pace was another one of them

                    • Indiana WR Donaven McCulley--IU's leading receiver in 2023 when Brendan Sorsby was QB--officially entered the portal today. Per Pete Nakos of On3, early teams to watch are Ole Miss, Tennessee, Michigan, Cincinnati, Miami and Colorado.

The Indianapolis native was a 4-star QB. He filled in for injured Michael Penix in 2021 when DM was a true freshman. He either was overrated or just thrown to the wolves on an underachieving IU team. He transitioned to WR and was very solid his junior year in 2023. He was a big time holdover this offseason with the new staff (with reports of Michigan and others trying to lure him with NIL $). He started the year injured and fell down the depth chart, while IU has thrived.
