My mantra continues to be that no one got screwed over worse in conference realignment over the long term than Southern Miss. This was a top 25 program 20 years ago. The went backwards into the Sun Belt Conference from CUSA. It's hard to do that.

Utah's OC has resigned suddenly mid season. QB Coach will be elevated and it's Mike Bajakian who was at UC under Butch Jones.

Related but out of conference, OC Seth Littrell at Oklahoma has been fired.

Rice has fired coach Mike Bloomgren, with the Owls at 2-6 this year. Bloomgren is 24-52 in seven years at Rice.

I don't think so. I remember Mo Linguist, Sean Lewis and a few others but I definitely don't remember Cignetti coming up in that group.
