Maybe because they know the staff will eventually take it's foot off the gas? That would bother me as a player I think.

I'm not sure the staff would let loose. During Tony Pike's postgame interview with CSS, one of the coaches was blistering the team in a profanity-laced tirade in the background.

Are we sure it was a coach and not a player? Either way, the play on the field has garnered some negative attention. That can be good and bad. We'll see how the team responds this week in Manhattan.
