If tO$U beats UW in the fashion I expect, CLF will be asked to remain home. At least that is my prediction.

How much worse can it get from the 37-0 thrashing by Iowa? Let me rephrase that, will tosu put up over 50 points?

New contract for Curt Cignetti at Indiana. No surprise he's staying, but surely some disappointed Penn State fans.

Cignetti may just be the coach of the year. He has been awesome over the past 1-1/2 seasons.

It is taken for granted because he is at tOSU, but look at what Day has done. He took a mentally defeated team and won 4 in the playoffs. Then he lost coordinators and most of his starters went to the NFL. Every team puts a target on them, but he has them rolling and motivated this year. Look at the pressure Day is under, Indiana doesn't have that yet. I must admit, Day is the Coach of the last 2 years so far.

If CSS keeps this up, will other programs consider him?

I think he would have to sustain winning over at least two seasons. We are halfway through the first season with lots of football left to play. And the last two seasons were not the type of seasons that another program seeks.

I am not sure that he will. First, he will never need money again, he is a very wealthy man. Second, he has gained a reputation that most big programs will not want to pay for. He may end up at a non-power conference if his ego will allow him to accept. He should go back to his roots and coach at a small collage for the love of coaching and avoid all of the other noise.
