I might be in the minority, but some of these head coaching rumors are head scratchers to me...Franklin to VA Tech? They just fired a Penn State guy. Welcome to being average. Drinkwitz to Penn State? Doesn't seem like a good fit. I've been touting Chesney for years on this forum...anyone who passes on him will regret it.

- Cal fired its coach
- FSU is retaining Norvell
- Chip Kelly could be back in play after getting canned by the Raiders yesterday
- Luke Fickell is 2-1 since the announcement of his retention with wins over then-23 Washington and then-21 Illinois on Saturday with a loss at #2 IU in the middle
