He loves himself and that trumps coaching. Look for at least some talk about UCLA. They need a splash.Originally posted by bearcatbret View Post
I am not sure that he will. First, he will never need money again, he is a very wealthy man. Second, he has gained a reputation that most big programs will not want to pay for. He may end up at a non-power conference if his ego will allow him to accept. He should go back to his roots and coach at a small collage for the love of coaching and avoid all of the other noise.

My impression about who Penn State is/believes/ stands for and the reality of the situation is probably nowhere close, but who I believe they are would suggest they should want nothing of this man. UCLA with all the glitz and glamor seems like it would make more sense.

ONE OF THE WORST HUMANS." Former LSU defensive back Matthew Langlois went scorched earthon Brian Kelly this week. After LSU fired Kelly, Langlois used his Twitter Fingers to share that Kelly is "one of the worst humans I've been around, ever."
Geez-ow.
Here's what Langlois' since-deleted posts said:
"I was FORCED to medically retire before I could get a 2nd or 3rd opinion," Langlois said in his first post. "When I was playing very well before my injury, I'd hear from Coach Kelly quite often. The second I got injured, not a word since. Genuinely one of the worst humans I've been around, ever."
He continued in a second post, "Unless you were producing positively for him on the field, he could care less about you. He'd pass me in the hallways, not a glimpse, not a word. He's only in it for the money and himself. Absolutely ruined the culture of LSU football and I hope people see the real Brian Kelly."
Oh, we've seen him around here for a loooooong time. I'm glad that what was done in the dark has been brought to the light!

This LSU coaching search is going to be wild. The Governor chimed in that the AD would not be leading the hiring search and that the LSU Board Governor Pres would do it. Said BoG pres. found out from a reporter and said " I didn't know that" when asked about it. Then the AD resigned.Brent Wyrick
