The team will be gutted anyway, even without factoring in portal exits. There were so many seniors on this team - Allen, Walker, Goodie, Royer, to name a few on offense. McDoom, Corleone, Dingle, Golday, Hunt to name a few on defense. I don’t know who remains to step up but they will definitely need portal additions to even field a team. Sorsby leaving likely leads to others on offense leaving. I sense big trouble for next year.

The sheer number of season ticket holders that sold their tickets to BYU fans (5-8K) is pretty telling. The B12 championship game was still possible at that point. A pretty sizable portion of the fan base doesn't believe in this current coaching staff. While not cheap, it's the better spend to buy him out than to take the hit in ticket sales, concessions and brand erosion.

My next door neighbor just gave up his tickets that he has had for 35 years. A 2-10 team next year will send us back to the "dark ages" of UC FB. On January 1, buy him out. Heck, LSU owes $54 mill to CBK.

That really pi**ed me off. I held onto mine though I could have sold them for a ton to the BYU guys. Does a great team make great fans, or great fans make a great team? I’ve decided to keep my tickets after my yearly declaration that I won’t. I think those of us holding onto the seats have a right to demand better.
