IDK, I expect to see activity increase now that the tournament is over. If two weeks from now we’re not closer on some guys I’ll be surprised. New transfer commits have been going slow this year nationally, but that’s about to change too.

Chris Dortch on Twitter:
”It's important to note that starting this year, the NCAA deadline for transferring with immediate eligibility is May 1, not July 1 as it was last year. The next three weeks are going to be crazy, but that May 1 date is a huge help for coaches trying to finalize their rosters.”Fire Scott Satterfield

I hope that's not accurate and I realize its a very difficult juggling act but at some time you have to close off the list of candidates and close the deal with someone. We don't want to settle and just trade bodies comparable in talent to what we lost, but clearly we are struggling to appeal to the guys we want. The silence has been defening and I am not sure what other conclusions to draw.Last edited by Rufus; 04-08-2022, 10:15 PM.
