Per 247sports.com, Jamille Reynolds was a 3* recruit in the 2020 class. They ranked him #28 in FL.

This is taken out of context.

I misread an earlier post. This poster was not suggesting Jamille was a 5 star recruit or thinking he was.

UC previously offered James in high school (possibly the prior UC staff). He played at Oak Ridge HS, which is coached by Cincinnati native Steven Reece who was the AAU coach of Jizzle James (and dad of UC 2025 recruit Jalen Reece).

          • UK's Ugonna Onyenso is in the portal. Might be headed to Arkansas but he's now the top rim protector in the portal. Might be wise to target him or Ogbakko if Sean Stewart doesn't pan out

You're right. I was in no way suggesting he was.

Are we in contact with either? I'd take the first one to commit if we have offers, maybe find a "2nd slot" if two want to commit. Would an elite Center want to compete with an established starter (Aziz).
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

                  Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!

We're not in contact with either them as far as I know. Wishful thinking on my part. Could we be in contact with them at point? Sure, but you're correct in that they would not want to compete with Aziz, even if they were better. Onyenso's only been in the portal since this morning so...

We're getting down to the end of this thing. Portal window closes May 1.

Would Aziz want to compete with an elite center? If we brought in an elite center, I'd bet Aziz would hit the transfer portal the next day. Having two high level starter type players at the same position is just about impossible in the transfer portal age. Especially at center where there are always lots of teams looking for high level starters.

Exactly what I was thinking. Roll with Aziz, he knows the offense already.
