Last year’s team finished #30 in Torvik. I’ll gladly take that or better this coming season. The key will be winning tough close games, the kind we just couldn’t finish the last few years. We won’t have Jizzle to blame anymore.

I think we all got too hyped up on the announcement of WM as our new coach especially with him being associated with Roy Williams, and after the debacle that existed with the regime before. Therefore the disillusionment the persisted after five years of generic and predictable has skewed a lot of bearcat fans. I for one just got to the point to where I didn't care to watch the 'cats anymore. So I'm not concerned about CJC fielding a team because as good as the b12 is I expect this years team to do as good or a little better than previous teams just by being more disciplined and able to adapt to game situations. With any success at all the players will begin to come here to play.

I don't there is any intent on bringing others down. As fans and long time ones, there is concern and they don't want to be burnt again. I for one after the last couple of failures, believe things are looking up. We got Huggs back, some donors back and we don't have 3 pointers being jacked up at will if CJC past holds true. I am looking forward to that tall skinny guy entertaining us too.

    Go Cats.

Listen to the most recent Coffee with Cunningham and CJC’s interview on that podcast. If you don’t feel better after that, then I don’t know what to say to you to rest your concerns. Maybe you’re a half-empty glass kind of person, which is your right. Just try not to bring the rest of us down while we’re excited about the future of UC basketball.
    Well said!

The Big 12 is murder, and the new rules have changed everything. I’ll wait and see, but so far I’m worried.

I'm sure he could fill the roster in a day if he wanted to settle. I prefer he be more selective.

Maybe some good news coming? Saw a tweet alluding to something potentially favorable on this front.

Right, if we can't land one of these proven players we'll need to rely on more speculative options.
