I think we are talking apples and oranges here. There have always been transfers and we benefited from many. They had to sit a year before being eligible. Todays portal transfers is a whole different animal. Kids can transfer every year and be immediately eligible. DDJ and Nolley, as stated, are the only two with immediate impact. Koval, Hensley and Neuman debateable, and Phinesee unknown at this point. Alvin Mitchell, Kyle Washington and any more than 3-4 years ago were all pre portal and not subject to the evaluation of how successful we have been with portal transfers that are supposed to help fill immediate holes.
