Statement from Head Coach Wes Miller: “Jizzle James has been dealing with personal issues throughout summer. We removed him from the team last month. He is currently not a member of our basketball program. As this is a personal matter, I have no further comment at this time.”

Does anyone think CWM learned a lesson from that fiasco? I am quite confident he was spoken to by Roy Williams, UC admins. some UC deep pockets and BB team alums.

Any announcement would surely be one of the following:
    - UC dismissed him from the team
    - Jizzle announces he's leaving (even though he was otherwise getting the boot)
    - UC is indefinitely suspending him
    - Jizzle is stepping away indefinitely with UC's support
this is going to be a big year for CWM. with or without JJ, CWM needs to get this back on track. to do that, i think the drama needs to stop. does that mean JJ stays or goes? i don't know - i'm not picking sides, other than that of a fan - i want to see the team in the best position it can be in, and that doesn't happen if there's a lot of drama swirling around, and carrying into the season.

Perhaps Sincere is also looking out for his own minutes. Who really knows what the thought process is here?

Both Kriisa and Tillery could do the job, but I don't want to take away from Jizzle James. He will need breathers and I suspect he is more efficent when rested. Jizzle can still be the leader and even more of a key cog than last year with fewer minutes. Jizzle can create a shot, and make it at a high rate. His lobs were good. I believe his passing, both accuracy/timing can be improved to cut down on turnovers. Jizzle has some work to do to get even better, but it is disrespectful of Harris to suggest the team would be better or even okay without Jizzle on the team.
there may be more on the team in agreement with Sincere. Maybe even on the staff. We will see how it plays out.

I like Jizzle & the talent he has. I hope he will come back & fit into the rotation as CMW sees fit. If he moves on, I want to wish him the best.

Edit - perhaps Sincere knew Jizzle was no longer on the team and his statements are fair enough with that knowledge

Anything we say at this point would be speculation. My thoughts in this area have shifted, leading to my current speculation (sans proof): Jizzle sees competition for his minutes. Also, I wonder if, as the son of an NFL great, Jizzle feels that he's falling short by comparison and can't handle it. I'm not a psychologist, so I'll stop analyzing now. I just hope he gets himself together.

yeah, never saw any of it, just want him to be ok, and selfishly, not mess up our season with his problems
