I like Jizzle & the talent he has. I hope he will come back & fit into the rotation as CMW sees fit. If he moves on, I want to wish him the best.

Sincere isn't completely wrong that the Cats would be okay, but I am not sure we want to test that theory for whole games or the season. Both Kriisa and Tillery could do the job, but I don't want to take away from Jizzle James. He will need breathers and I suspect he is more efficent when rested. Jizzle can still be the leader and even more of a key cog than last year with fewer minutes. Jizzle can create a shot, and make it at a high rate. His lobs were good. I believe his passing, both accuracy/timing can be improved to cut down on turnovers. Jizzle has some work to do to get even better, but it is disrespectful of Harris to suggest the team would be better or even okay without Jizzle on the team.Originally posted by bearcatbret View Post

I think when he went last time, I really didn't connect the trip or JLE to a 12-step program but that seems to be the case after all at this point. The Skills Academy is invite-only-i.e. it is an honor to be invited and having players selected reflects well on their college team. Jizzle's situation was different in that it seems to have been his choice to go to Houston-but as others have alluded to, his recent posts where it seems like he is coming back to the team also mentioned starting step 1 of a 12 step program-so seems likely that his time in Houston has more to do with getting help for off-court trouble than any sort of statement of confidence (or lack thereof) in UC's coaching staff. If that's the case, then good luck to him-it's a brave step to pubicly acknowledge your struggles like that.Leave a comment:
