Drew Richards, head basketball coach at UNC-Pembroke (D2), tweeted the following:
"Lawyers are contacting players with no eligibility and having them get in the portal. They are convincing them that if a college wants them bad enough, the college will pay for the lawyer to sue the NCAA for an additional year of eligibility."
This practice is worse than ambulance chasing. Any attorney involved in this is creating the "accident".Leave a comment:

Is Moustapha Thiam to UC official? These days I’ll wait until it comes from UC.Leave a comment:

This guy is very physical in the paint. Not sure if UC should go after him. UC already has two 5s. No need to create unnecessary tension in the locker room. On the other hand, Dainja can really play.Leave a comment:

I had that thought too. On paper, I'd bet on Thiam getting the majority of the minutes at the 5 and Dzellat may get a few, is Wes going to try to get Haynes 10+ minutes at the 4 and will it work out? Haynes doesn't look like he's skilled enough to defend the perimeter at the 4. But Haynes probably didn't come here to play 10-15 minutes per night as a backup center. With Thiam and Haynes, how is that supposed to work out? Remember what happened with Aziz, Reynolds, and Lakhin. Everybody was unhappy with their minutes except Aziz. Let's hope that Miller is better at managing the minutes between these two bigs so that both are happy and want to give maximum effort.Leave a comment:

A three point shooter's job is to defend the break, not rebound. Sending 5 guys to the offensive glass is not a good idea.Leave a comment:

I don't think I've ever seen any trey shooter for any team follow his shot, unless the ball caroms back to him, which is rare. 70% of missed shots come off on the weak side, while the remaining 30% mostly fall somewhere in the lane.Leave a comment:

And they wouldn't be able to show everyone the trey sign if they were tasked with following their own shot if they did make a trey. < more sarcasm>Leave a comment:
