If he flourishes elsewhere, we will know that answer. If he is the same player elsewhere then we will also know that. Maybe he seeks more NIL money than UC is willing to pay.
As to why Miller is still UC’s coach, I can give you $9M+ reasons why - the money owed to him if UC changes coaches.

I don't mind the loss of Rayvon in general, but he's local and it was really cool when he committed -- so view it from a different lens than if he was a random kid from like NJ or VA. I suppose he could come back, and I'd be happy if he returned. But thus far his resume/game tape has not lived up to the hype.

I will say that maybe his early season injury may have affected his play all season and that he was one of the more active players on the team however many times when he tried to slash he would torn the ball over because he tried to do too much in his creating a shot and it is hard to slash and drive when you don't get the ball passed to ya from your guards. But since he's decided to go I do hope that Mitchel stays.

Sure he hit a couple, but 28% for 3 years is a big enough sample size, he wasn't a good shooter.

Do we not have enough Guards????? Watching some of our glaring needs from this past year, could we not use more PF & C?
Guys that could possibly muscle themselves around the basket, to get in position to rebound or score? Here's a few not currently committed, would you welcome any of these players?
Alvaro Folgueiras 6-9 / 215
Kennard Davis 6-6 / 215
AJ Storr 6-7 / 205
Jayden Quaintance 6-9 / 230
Efton Reid 7-0 / 250
Youssouf Singare 6-10 / 230

That's just as bad as 28% from three. Jizzle is also a 28% career three point shooter, and he's under 48% from two. Skillings is just over 50% from two over the last couple years. Again, not great, but enough to push his effective field goal percentage above the other guards. Add in his offensive rebounding and he was a much more efficient offensive player with the same usage rate as Day Day.
