Baba Miller. Wow!! Unbelievable addition to the program. A couple of questions. Who are the starting five? Where does Miller play (at the 4 or the 5)? Can he play at the 3 for short periods?

Last question. What happens if Miller still cannot win the tougher games on the schedule even with the roster he has for next season?

    The practices should be insane.

I believe the startung 5 will look like 3 guards and 2 centers, but could work as substitutions come un

      PG DayDay
      SG Jizzle
      G/F Harris
      PF/C Miller
      C Thiam

The next 3 off the bench are Kriisa, Abaev, and Celestine. Of course this is early, and I hope the practices aresuper competitive

As to Wes: this will be a season to save his job. I believe in Wes' future in this sport, but if it's going to be long-term at UC, he must make the Tourney.

For 2M and incentives worth another 1M per Zags. First time I've seen an incentive clause in a college contract. Needs to be more of that so we don't get another situation like Dan Skillings

Uzan is returning to UH, per ESPN. He's better than Pop & knows their system. The Cougars will be younger, but very talented (three 5* recruits).

Ive been reading some of the Baylor fan sites and their reaction to Dan Skillings. I honestly think we will be a better team without him. He was in a postion to be a leader here and the other players probably
looked to him for that. His apparent devil may care attitude and lack of intensity did not set a good example. Many games he simply checked out or never showed up. No doubt he has the skills but he might have thought that that alone would carry him to the next level. We both needed a clean start.I am excited for the Bearcats to be rid of his non-malignant but negative none the less influence.

In his defense, he was hurt much of last year. I don’t think the brace came off his knee until the Big XII tournament.

Michigan is #4 in Torvik's projection.

it sounded like SO talked to UF a while back, and nothing came of it - then, UF bumped its offer? UF had to know his track record (maybe they were impressed by his crowd surfing days here at Nippert). but, did UF regret sweetening the pot? was this merely a case of buyer's regret, at the numbers? you'd think that, if his past was an issue, they wouldn't pursued him. or, was there a board member that took him to the mat?

In Houston's case, they went the other way this year with four high-caliber HS kids (three 5* & one 4*). The Cougars do have some key pieces returning, including JoJo Tugler, Milos Uzan (after flirting with the NBA draft) & Emanuel Sharp.

Speaking of UH, Kelvin Sampson just signed a 4-year extension @ $23.5M. I guess he's not close to retiring yet.
