Is this official? Michigan's homecoming is Sat, Oct. 4th and Arkansas's is Sat, Nov 1st. It seems weird that 1) these two games would take place 4 weeks apart and 2) we'd play in Fayetteville two days before our season opener against Western Carolina on Nov 3rd.

If I had to take a guess at dates I'd say Michigan is Saturday, Oct 18th (their football team hosts Washington that day) and Arkansas is Saturday, Oct 25th (their football team hosts Auburn that day).

Sounds like a heavy New Year hangover. ;(

Yeah. However, UC plays a tune-up game (Lipscomb) before Houston comes in. That is different from last year where UC had no games after Christmas Break before it played Kansas State (and was beaten badly). Playing a game the same week that it plays Houston is good thinking. Hopefully, UC does not overlook Lipscomb because Houston is coming 5 or 6 days later. Who knows; playing that additional game before Houston comes in may be the difference between a win or a loss.

Just to take one example, BYU with AJ Dyabantsa, Richie Saunders, Kennard Davis and Robert Wright is not going to be a small task even at 5/3, and we have already seen Iowa State beat us at home. if we are 13-6 in the B12, I will happily eat my words, but I don't think it is as likely as the writer of this piece.
