Campbell and Collins are not an either or proposition. We have a roster spot available for both if they're eligible.

The Ohio Court of Appeals has denied the motion to vacate the stay in the Ohio 5 in 5 case.

This means MJ Collins is currently ineligible.

“Javontae comes from a great program in Bowling Green and tremendous coach in Todd Simon,” Calhoun said. “I think he’ll be really good in our system because he can put a large amount of pressure on the rim. Obviously, his steal numbers are significant, but his overall defensive mentality will be a tremendous asset. He’s a tremendous person who really wants to win.”

Does Campbell project as a starter? With 18.7 ppg, along with his defensive prowess, I would think so.

We may have to temper any excitement over getting Campbell—not because of his abilities, but because he has a foot injury. Chad Brendel mentioned last night on one of his podcasts that it doesn't look great. He didn't go into any details.

At least at this point. Regardless of how the Court of Appeals rules, the losing party will be back before the Ohio Supreme Court. That's where and when the case will end, one way or the other.
