Man, what an embarrassing second half on offense. That was simply awful playcalling. We beat ourselves and unfortunately will feed the conference perceptions of non-P5 being less than. No way we should have lost today. I believe we converted one third down in the second half? Very few Ridder called runs, just mind boggling. And throwing on 3rd and 2? Can’t believe that was the call. Ridder reverted to bad Ridder-inconsistency has plagued his career unfortunately.

Fickell embarrassed himself in the second half. UC's last drive was a clock management disaster. They snapped the ball twice with something like 15 and 10 seconds still on the play clock...25 seconds. On 3rd and 2 if you run the ball another 25 seconds runs off the clock....total of 50 seconds. GA would have about 50 seconds with no timeouts to go 50 yards. Maybe they do maybe do not the way our Defense was playing...it took them 1:45 or whatever to get in position for the 52 yard field goal. We will never know. How many times will you say we primarily lost a game because our starting OFFENSIVE left tackle got kicked out for TARGETING after the play was over??? Just when you think you've seen it all stick around Cincinnati sports long enough and you will see something new and innovative to lose a game.

Clearly Georgia with their athleticism and depth can absorb a number of starters out just a bit better than the Bearcats less Wiggins, Doaks, Renfro and Hudson (ejection).
Still, it looked like the Bulldogs were wearing down a bit and dehydrating - Bearcats should not have given up on the run game.
Just want to congratulate the team and staff on a great effort and a great year!

Ridder took the snap with 10 seconds left on the play clock, and then throws it???? What were they thinking?

As it was, there was approximately 1:30 left when UGA got the ball back and they kicked the FG with 7 seconds left. Had they run the ball, it would not have left them enough time to get into FG range. Poor clock management by whom ever is responsible for that aspect.

Yeah, people don't realize the clock was already stopped due to UGA having called timeout after first and second downs. It would not have made a difference if there was 20 seconds left on the game clock. Disappointed that poor clock management cost the team a win in the bowl. It was not the only reason for the loss, but despite those other factors that led to the loss, they still had a chance to win, or at least would have significantly improved their chances, had they run the ball on third down.
