I think Michigan will likely pass us when the new poll comes out. I hope I'm wrong..

UC is the only major college/university with an undefeated Football and Basketball team. Dan mentioned it during the Cincinnati Georgia game.

Michigan wins, but should have lost. Franklin's raise opportunities fade.

We have always needed help in form of teams above us and directly behind us losing to get into the CFP; however, being number 5 means we are one misstep away. The cautionary part of that message is no missteps on our part and root for the Boilermakers and Vols! And whoever plays Oregon.

At this point, it might be good for us if Georgia remains undefeated. If Bama, Oh st, Oregon, MSU, and UM all get a second loss, it would be good for Noter Shame to keep winning. Maybe the CFP will be OU, ND, UC, and UGA? Lots of football left, but nice to know who to root for, and against.

More like they are hanging onto Oregon as their last hope of keeping us out without looking completely corrupt

The committee punished MI State for their loss at Purdue, dropping them to #7 behind #6 MI, whom the Spartans beat last week.

Not losing matters more than style points. As teams lose and more chaos will happen, we need to keep winning. Too much familiarity and motivation when playing these conference games. Add in the AAC teams are slightly upset/envious of the Big 12 invite and are trying to show they deserve the next look.

"However, style points matter. They've always mattered, and Cincinnati did not play well against Navy, Tulane and Tulsa. In fact, the Bearcats could have lost a couple of those games, and that will definitely be held against them."

Could have lost, but did not....so it'll be held against us. Versus teams that ACTUALLY LOST and benefited. What a bunch of malarky.
