I can't answer that...but my understanding is that the special teams coach who helped bring him to UC went to Notre Dame last year, his new head coach just went to Wisconsin (obviously), so might just want a different situation -- not to mention UNC will probably be better than UC next year.

I don't think he played, but I could be wrong. I still like the transfer as he was due for much playing time next year according to articles.

Dumbest idea ever. He’s an idea, coach and develop him as a QB.

I remember warren moon, setting passing records at the University of Washington. He had to go to Canada for 10 years before getting an opportunity to play in the NFL.

Here’s a partial list of black QBs who were told they should play another position: Desmond Ridder, Warren Moon, Dante Culpepper, Randall Cunningham, Kordell Stewart, Donovan McNabb, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson, Steve McNair was recruited by Mississippi State play running back. He went to Alcorn State, and got drafted in the first round of the NFL as a quarterback.
