I don't think it's the coach so much as the QB. No confidence and no mastery of the playbook. EJ just doesn't have it and can't read defenses past read one. The problem becomes do you throw one of the Brady Bunch out there with a patchwork line and get them killed?

I mean he definitely deserves some more time. I am not advocating firing him tomorrow but I just don't like what I see and I certainly think it is interesting to see how well Louisville is doing this year. I hope he turns it around though.

TOSU dodged a bullitt when Jones decommitted from them a few years ago. He was the #40 rated recruit overall.

I got the impression that Satterfield just obtained the only QB that had power five experience so he wouldn't have to go into the big12 with an inexperienced one. Hoping to eke out some lucky wins. At this point however, I believe we'd be better off and look a lot less overwhelmed if we went with the best available backup QB on our roster who is likely to be here next season, let him get game speed experience and build some chemistry with some receivers.
