Bad news, DeShawn Pace has entered the portal. Honestly, he did not have the positive attitude his brother Ivan has. Note is his "goodbye note", he thanks Coaches Fickell and Freeman, but not CSS.

DeShawn made a ton of plays, and chased down many long gains from behind. He is a good player. The other teams knew where he was on the field, tried to avoid him, and he still got the job done. i wouldn't doubt it. he was suspended for the oklahoma game. our seats aren't too far from the uc bench area. all season, when the defense was off the field, pace pretty much hung by himself. at times, he'd be at the wall, handing towels, etc to the fans / family he was talking to at the time. didn't really seem to be "into" the games. at halftime, he'd hang back on the bench, and then head to the locker room well after the rest of the team. whatever his issues, if he would've done that crap again next year, i'm glad he's gone. if one of your "leaders" acts like that, you don't need him.Originally posted by Lobot View PostComment
