It was weird. They basically let Huff win the Sun Belt and go to a bowl and then didn't renew his contract afterwards. There's a meme circulating that the entire Marshall team went in to the transfer portal which I definitely don't think is true, but Marshall fans seem to be encouraging the team to do that just to thumb their nose at a Athletic Dept they see as cheap and poorly run.
