Marshall has hired NC State DC Tony Gibson as HC, replacing Charles Huff who left for Southern Miss (which seems weird)

It was weird. They basically let Huff win the Sun Belt and go to a bowl and then didn't renew his contract afterwards. There's a meme circulating that the entire Marshall team went in to the transfer portal which I definitely don't think is true, but Marshall fans seem to be encouraging the team to do that just to thumb their nose at a Athletic Dept they see as cheap and poorly run.
