Wake me up Sunday night (I know I'll miss the game) at least then I believe we will know the "score" as far as BK is concerned-- it is tough to "chill" in the interim.

There really is no need to speculate on whether or not Coach Kelly will be on the UC sidelines for the Bowl game whatever or wherever it is because his new employer will expect him to be on the recruiting trail for them, not coaching for his old school. Maybe the million dollar buy-out, that ND will find under the sofa cushions in the AD office, can be used to close the financial gap on that Bubble...so when we hire Coach Steppingstone in about a month all he will need to concern himself with is another 7500-10,000 seats in The Nip, before he moves on to....

Look, forget IrishCentral.com, it is not a credible site in anyway. It is a cite about all things IRISH in America, not NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH!!! Coach Kelly has said time and time again that he is here to stay.

I do believe he has an offer on the table but I guarantee it isn't in his hands until the middle of next week. I've said it once and I'll say it again, UC will have first crack at him and they have a deal finalized to present after the Pitt game! Also of note, two other coaches (Ferentz and Stoops) also were offered and have turned it down. BK will not be the last coached offered in the next few days.

ND wants to fill the job by next Friday at the latest and I just don't see Coach Kelly deciding with his team in bowl preparation. He is a very good man and ND is working with bad timing right now, also the fact the no one wants to ruin their career right now!

College football live played a clip of BK talking with WEBN this morning and BK said he is staying. Also check the breaking news at footballscoops, they claim their sources confirmed he will be our head coach next year. Take all this as you wish. Hope an official announcement comes soon.

and

"Our sources have confirmed that there is an offer on the table for Brian Kelly to be the next Head Coach of the Irish."

Either he's a candidate or he isn't. If he's not, there wouldn't be an offer on the table.

Yeah I picked up on that too. Hearing BK tell WEBN he was staying, was the first time I heard him say that. Maybe BK didnt mean it literally, but it got me a little excited. I tried to find the audio file online but was unsuccessful.

Lighten up people. Que sera sera! Let's just say : "NEXT COACH IN" like the team has done for the last two years. Besides, we already have "Brain Kelly" stored in a box for future use. Take a look at the picture :

I'm certainly no expert, but those identifiers starting with CHQ seem to indicate a regional airline - Chautauqua Airlines.
