Chad Brendel: Sources tell @BearcatJournal that Cincinnati had an in home visit tonight with fast rising 2023 big man Arrinten Page (@arrintenp22). Page was outstanding this past weekend at EYBL Indy and plays AAU and HS with top #Bearcats target @isaiahcollier04

GBCA Live kicked off with a headlining matchup that featured four-star power forward and spring stockriser Arrinten Page. Many programs were spectating but as the clock tipped off, one school certainly separated themselves with the amount of staff members on hand for his showing. Cincinnati's Wes Miller, Chad Dollar, and Andre Morgan were all sitting on the sidelines for what seems to be their top frontcourt target in the 2023 class and for great reasons.
Friday will be the only day coaches will see Page at GBCA live as he will takeoff to Colorado Springs Saturday morning to compete in USA Basketball's U17 Trials.
Another is to support and value the strengths he brings to the table. Page showcased his ability and willingness to guard in space, check ball screens, and secure rebounds. Playing without Isaiah Collier, Page's offensive game came in short spurts with an occasional three and a couple of soft inside finishes. However, his effort in areas outside of scoring were huge in his team's victory.
A long shot but very possible reason is to provide another pitch to the No. 1 point guard in the country. It is hard to argue with the fact that Collier is the best passer in high school basketball and no prospect has been on the receiving end of those feeds more than Page has. The pitch to keep the duo alive could be in play for not only the Bearcats but for a majority of programs who are targetting both prospects.
Page has already completed an official visit with Cincinnati along with Georgia and Missouri. He says Indiana could be the next program in contention for an official visit. More on his recruitment will come soon.

- Officially visited UC, USC, Missouri
- Interested in visiting Indiana
- USC and UC both targeting Page's teammate Isaiah Collier
- On UC: "The visit was great. I like Wes Miller's intensity and how he loves basketball. I like how they use their bigs."
- On Mizzou: "When you play for their team, you are like a celebrity. Everybody knows you and it is like a family everywhere."
- On USC: "[Assistant coach] Chris Capko is a real cool dude. They have a beautiful campus and they are known for how well they develop big men."

Saw a pic of Wes and Chad Dollar apparently watching Page today. Also pictured was an IU assistant who is their south/Georgia connection. Seems like IU and UC have been in on a lot of the same GA guys (they sure have a lot of talent down there) and this is definitely a recruitment where both seem to be prioritizing him.

Even though Chad Dollar is the lead in GA, you’d think Mike Roberts would able to fend off some of IU’s hype, having coached there. Chad Dollar has gotten recruits to the NBA.
Mike Woodson was a coach in the league but he’s an unknown in college and recruiting. Some of these pro guys do ok in college stepping down from the NBA but most of them don’t. The exception seems to be Eric Musselman and I think Arkansas is full for the class.Brent Wyrick

Anyways, here is a pic from today of Wes Miller (and the same IU assistant) watching Page. https://twitter.com/kylerstaley/stat...BIcBlcR2_WiYXg

Consider the source, but this IU site (which is on the newer side but seems to be churning out a lot of quality content) on Page:
Arrinten Page has IU on his short-list and he has a relatively short timeline. That much we can confidently deduce from our conversation with him last week after he took an official visit to Bloomington. The match is easy to see — Indiana needs a big man in its class, and he likes IU. Look for the 6-foot-9, top-50 Page to decide in the next six weeks between IU and maybe one or two more programs. This one looks like IU has a slight edge.

An article on an IU site updating the Page recruitment, suggesting UC may be a "wild card" due to his connection with Collier https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-s...arrinten-page/ which isn't to say UC is not in the mix, as they very well may be. This has been a very quiet recruitment.
