Another name of potential interest -- Nahiem Alleyne, who played three years at Virginia Tech (one with Landers Nolley in 2019-20) and this past season at UConn.

At Virginia Tech, he averaged 9.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and shot 38.7% from three (not very good percentage-wise from two), including 84 starts.

He averaged just 17.9 mins/game for UConn, averaging 5.2 points. He averaged more than 7 points in UConn's tournament run, including 10 versus Arkansas, and 8 against both Gonzaga and Miami. He also was 27/31 from the FT line, including a perfect 9/9 in the NCAA Tournament.

I think K State is also making a big push for him which would certainly likely help Uc land Estrada should they get him. That said, after landing Nolley last year, I think Wes & co. have the chops to land Estrada regardless. However, this is definitely a game of dancing chairs particularly for kids with only a year left to play. Either a big pay day, but even as much a final audition of playing time.

Moussa Cissee played a year at Memphis and two at Oklahoma State. 7'1 from Guinea. Averaged 6.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.9 blocks over three seasons. Former 5-star prospect. Should have two years left if he uses a COVID year.
Reported having a zoom call with Uc this week fwiw.

A possible new name -- Simas Lukosius, a 6'6 sophomore this past year at Butler, where he averaged 11.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 37.8% from three, 80% from the FT line. The Lithuania native was Butler's second-leading scorer.

I know nothing about his interest in UC or the extent to which UC has been pursuing him. But there is a VIP ($) thread about him on Bearcat Journal -- so has to be at least something.

Doesn't necessarily fill the void of Landers Nolley, but seems like a solid add if anything ever happened on this one.

Also, let's get a pairing of Lakhin and Lukosius and call them "Luk and Lak" or "Lak and Luk" ...

Abmas is, in fact, visiting K State -- hope it goes well!

Alexis Yetna has entered the portal as a grad transfer . He would be going on school 3 and year 6. He was a Mick Cronin recruit coming out of prep school and is about to turn 26.

Year 7, actually, and coming off his second knee injury -- not sure if same knee or not

Not sure how a two-time transfer w/o (presumably) being a grad transfer would have a pathway to immediate eligibility but...

Cam Hayes from LSU, via NC State, is hitting the portal. UC had some level of contact last year https://vb.bearcatnews.com/forum/bas...553#post390553

                                - 6'2 guard
                                - From Greensboro, NC (!)
                                - Former 4-star recruit
                                - Two seasons at NC State, this past year was at LSU
                                - Three year averages: 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 30.9% three, 77.3% from FT in 22+ mins per game
                                - 45 starts in three seasons
