Carlyle was offered by UC out of high school in 2021. He ended up at Overtime Elite and then moved on to Stanford. Chad Dollar should be really familiar with him due to Carylyle being from the Atlanta area. I know we had a thread on him at one point but I think it got wiped out during the site hack a while back.UC among many schools to have expressed interest in 6’3 Stanford freshman Kanaan Carlyle, an Atlanta native and one of the best names in the portal so far

6’2 NKU guard (and all-time leading scorer) Marques Warrick putting his name in the draft and the portal. He’d have one year left.Comment

This guy gets to the rim A TON. Almost 7 times per game. And he has the highest usage rate and second best defensive box plus minus on Toledo. I'd take him for sure.UC has reached out to Ra'Heim Moss of Toledo, per The Portal Report https://twitter.com/ThePortalReport/...36185670422606
6'4 junior guard from Springfield, OH (should have one year of eligibility) - 15.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists this season (30.8% from 3, 75.3% FT), 2.5 turnovers per game as well. Topped 20 points several times including 22 against New Mexico and 21 against WVU.

All good players come from Springfield, OH, my hometown. 😁 I am with sedz - good player who I think improved after entering college. Take him if you can get him.Comment

Iowa State has added 6'11 center Dishon Jackson -- Jackson was at Washington State for three years (one was a medical redshirt season) and averaged 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds this past year at Charlotte. He should have two years of eligibility.Comment

Turns out we did offer Moss out of HS.....as an Outside Linebacker. That should give you an idea on his build.Brent Wyrick

Potentially interesting name headed to the portal -- Mike James, a 6'5 sophomore guard who averaged 12.6 points and 5.0 rebounds for Louisville.
UC previously offered James in high school (possibly the prior UC staff). He played at Oak Ridge HS, which is coached by Cincinnati native Steven Reece who was the AAU coach of Jizzle James (and dad of UC 2025 recruit Jalen Reece).Comment

Furman wing Alex Williams (Xenia, OH / Moeller High School) is portaling. As a junior this season, he averaged 13.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and shot a hair under 40% from three on 148 attempts.
Listed at 6'5, 235 (a bigger/wider Jarron Cumberland).
Alex Williams (24) Forward - 2022-23: Scored 6.3 points per game and added 2.8 rebounds per contest as a sophomore while appearing in 29 games... Shot 35.7% from

Here is an interesting one:
South Carolina star 6'2 guard Meechie Johnson (14.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, apg) from Cleveland is portaling.
Spent two uneventful years at Ohio State, two very solid years at South Carolina, and appears to have one "COVID year" left.Comment

The name rings a bell and it looks like he'd be an incoming Junior. We offered him early in 2020.Potentially interesting name headed to the portal -- Mike James, a 6'5 sophomore guard who averaged 12.6 points and 5.0 rebounds for Louisville.
