@PeteThamel: Sources: Georgetown and Ed Cooley are in “positive conversations” about him becoming the next coach. A decision is expected today.

@John_Fanta: Barring a change of heart at the last moment, Ed Cooley will be the next head coach at Georgetown, sources tell FOX Sports.

Cooley put the RI house up for sale per Rothstein. That should seal it.

Sounds like Cooley to Georgetown is a done deal.

George Mason's Kim English is expected to be a serious candidate, per Goodman and Rothstein. English starred at Missouri, but was held to just 3 points in UC's NCAA Tournament victory over Mizzou in 2011.

Mike Anderson will sue SJU who is trying to wriggle out of paying him the 11M left on contract by firing him for cause when there wasn’t one. He’s already retained an attorney.

This will be a fun one.

Darn - thought Tom Mars was gonna get some more work....

"Jay Morakis, CEO of M Group Strategic Communications, confirmed that Anderson has retained attorney John Singer of Singer Deutsch, which is currently working with Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule in his $5 million arbitration case against the Carolina Panthers."

The Fairleigh Dickinson coach appears to be Iona bound, to fill the role vacated by Rick Pitino

@TroyMachir: All signs are pointing to Tobin Anderson being named the next head coach at Iona. It could be as soon as later today, I'm told.

there's a few that I would include in that list of permanently unemployed bball coaches. But yea he's right at the top
