Bronny James scored 10 points in 18 minutes versus now 4-10 Cal and it is listed second on ESPN.com's Top Headlines https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...ores-10-vs-cal

I am glad he is healthy to play and I hope he does well (he scored 15 in the previous game), but still find coverage like this to be funny -- even if not unpredictable

Also, for what it is worth, USC is 7-7 so far. Isaiah Collier averaging 14.9 points, 4.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 steals. Fellow former UC recruit Arrinten Page is playing a modest 11.3 minutes per game with a 3.2 point and 2.3 rebound average.

Former Houston Cougar turned FSU Seminole turned Memphis Tiger apparently suffered a bad knee injury last night in the Tigers' narrow win versus Tulsa. Don't miss those Tulsa battles, but feel badly for Mills. Memphis is off to a great start, currently #15 in the AP Poll though lower/around UC in the NET and KenPom.

Four to the top five have lost this week -- #1 Purdue, #2 Houston, #3 Kansas, #5 Tennessee.

The lone winner? #4 UConn ... at Xavier last night. X is now 7-8.

How about UCF surprising everyone!? Congrats to the Knights players and coaches. Ugh, now their fans will be even more unbearable
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

              Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!

USC’s Isaiah Collier is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks due to a hand injury sustained in the game against Washington State on Wednesday.

Mick took his Bruins to SLC tonight and they took an absolute butt-kicking at the hands of the Utes, 90-44. His team not only are losing badly, they're boring. That's a bad combination. That will lead to (if not already) local indifference.

The Bruins came into the game at #106 in KenPom, with an offensive efficiency of #216. They seem destined to finish at the bottom of what's left of the PAC-12.

                      Sheesh. Talk about rock bottom.

One of UCLA's starters (Stefanovic) averaged 10, 3, & 3 for Utah last season. Gotta imagine he is second-guessing his decision at this point.

Dropped to 118 in KenPom (237 in offensive effiency)

NET? Dropped from 176 to 209. Among power conference teams, the only ones I see lower than 209:
                          - Louisville (233 -- just won at Miami earlier this week)
                          - DePaul (291 - led by former UC assistant Tony Stubblefield)

The B1G sure is picking up a gem with UCLA next year. I wonder when Mick will be added to the coaching carousel.

OK, this is on the womens side but I don't think I've ever seen a team cancel two games for lack of players outside of 2019-20. TCU does not have enough players to field a team at K-State or Iowa St over the next week. I was expecting COVID or illness or something but it's injuries. Open tryouts for walk ons will be held.
