Combining two comments, maybe the vote is to evict Baylor from the conference? Then they could add three to get to 12.The way the line of questioning so far for media days is going, it's Baylor, Baylor and more Baylor and Bowlsby's looking really bad on it right now. Here's the presser schedule:

Â@McMurphyESPN 34m34 minutes ago UH AD to Larry Scott: I am in SF want to meet? Scott: OK. UH AD: Can we join Pac-12? Scott: No. UH: We discussed expansion w/Pac-12

Just filed to CBS Sports: UH AD says "ÃÂno substance" to implication that meeting with Scott was a pitch meeting. ÃÂ"Pac-12 not expanding."Last edited by longtimefan; 07-18-2016, 06:46 PM.Comment

ACC Network to launch for 2019 is a 20 year deal and the ACC also extended their conference GOR through 2035-36.
Here's hoping the timing bodes well to influence Big 12 presidents

From ESPN: "When the ACC Network revenues are included, the ACC will be very competitive with the upper tier [Big Ten and SEC] of the Power 5 leagues," a source said.
With the ACC Network, and the extension of their GOR until 2036 (which includes Notre Dame), this officially makes the Big 12 the poor outcast of the Power 5 Conferences. Remember all of the comments we have read in recent months by Big 12 coaches and AD's hinting that the Big 12 would expand if there were strong candidates available (i.e. Florida State, Clemson, Miami) ??
In reality that was never going to happen anyway, but this ACC deal puts that idea to rest basically forever.Comment

Speculations and rumors are rampant that BYU UC, and UH will be joining the Big 12 Conference. The league\'s Board of Directors is said to have a meeting on July 19, either to vote to add additional schools, or end the current round of expansion talks.
Still BYU and either UH or UC. I can not see West Virginia voting if it only includes two schools that are even further away. Only because of WVU am I still holding my breath for UC's chances.Comment
