And, the two year period between moving up before bowl game and BB tournament appearances are allowed begins. I hope that they hover around .500 until 2026, lest we have the consternation a la JMU FB this year and Bellarmine BB two years ago.

There was a reason for the two year moratorium, but I don't know what it is. But if there's a true desire to change the rule, at least change it in the off-season and not in-season, as is always suggested in these cases.

Yes, the Blue Hens play in FCS presently. They're in the Coastal Athletic Conference.

It makes sense for all involved - a chance for the P2 to get enough games for a decent schedule, and a little more
time to make long term plans, and a little more $$$ and potential upside for the MW. - i hope it works out for them all

Looks like Oregon St and Waazu are trying to ensure they get paid from the Pac 12. They're trying to take over the Pac 12 board. ($)

I don't know why Yormark is in such a hurry. There is no other power 4 conference that wants them so they will always be available. The most logical conference for them is the Big East but they don't want them because of geography.

    Matt Norlander string of tweets:
    - Brett Yormark is seeking the most loaded league imaginable so he can take Big 12 to market at end of the decade and have separate football and basketball media deals
    - Pusbhack and caution from some Big 12 presidents and ADs
    - Yormark wants to get this done ASAP
    - Big financial questions are still not answered re: Utah/Arizona/ASU/Colorado (ESPN and Fox deals are still being ironed out)
    - May be some terms/negotiating points Gonzaga may not be thrilled with
