Satterfield will bring some staff from UL

Satterfield will not be a part of the bowl game

      Stressed importance of NIL

      Already started recruiting

      Assistant salary pool has increased

Via Justin Williams: Scott Satterfield Cincinnati contract info: 6 yrs, $3.4 million in first year with annual raise of $100k. Asst salary pool is $7.25 million

      Prioritizing recruiting locally

Why no sound? Can't hear presser on phone or computer.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

He actually praised UL players, community, staff and thanked them. Unlike someone we knew.

I watched the Wisconsin press conference to introduce Fickell, and he paid nice compliments to UC, Pinto, Cunningham, his staff, and players. He blew off the fans and community though.

Someone clearly from Louisville keeps asking questions from a UL angle and trying to damper things ha

Not coaching or going to the Bowl could be a huge plus as he is out recruiting.

Making same salary as he made at Loserville, helps keep him hungry, and maybe get that rising star back he had from App St (my take not from presser)

Already recruiting this morning (maybe his own players) and will be calling recruits this afternoon (hopefully both UC and Loserville guys because combined could make a great class)

I liked his mention of watching the Big 12 opponents and starting to game plan now.

My take: it will always be hard for UC to get the NIL dollars in place to get top talent. Instead we will keep doing it the Bearcat way. Recruit tough, hard-working, talented kids, and put them in the monster factory with a chip on their shoulders. The continuity is our fans, our great stadium, our facilities/commitment from University, great community, hot recruiting area, and keep getting good coaches to teach both football and life lessons. 6-6 may still be a stretch next year, but I'm calling my shot right now: 8-5 with a bowl win in year one of the Big 12.
