    Given my puckish sense of humor, if Yormark is considering corporate sponsorships, so can everyone else. Here are some "modest" examples:

    AAC: The Alcoholics Anonymous Conference (funding questionable);
    ACC: The Ambulance Chasers Conference (funded by the plaintiffs bar, less 33%);
    Big 10: The Atlantic City B1G Bingo Conference (funded by a portion of the Golden Nugget's profits);
    Big 12: The One-A-Day Vitamin B12 Conference (funded by Big Pharma);
    MAC: The Kraft MAC & Cheese (funded, unfortunately, by every grandparent in the US);
    SEC: The Securities and Exchange Commission Sports Conference (funded by the US taxpayer; Greg Sankey would insist).

    [Sorry about that. Back to reality.]

    A lot of people on the birdsite pointed that out. I think the reason for not fixing that is that everything with the XII logo would have to go in the trash.

    Under a new proposal from commissioner Brett Yormark, the conference’s name would undergo a significant alteration, prominently incorporating a sponsor’s name in the title.

    I am not sure if this is a circus show or a comedy act.
