Pete Thamel reporting (and I am paraphrasing a bit):

The Big 12 has signed its long-form TV contracts with FOX and ESPN for the TV deals -- announced in October -- that are set to begin in July 2025 and run through 2031. Next up will be finalizing a data deal in the upcoming weeks.

I think Kroger plans to stock it.

My question: Is the beer that Rhinegeist has set aside for UC NIL going to be sold and if they sell it at Rhinegeist, will it count towards the NIL? Which beer is it anyway?

Countdown to Big 12 is on. Ya'll have fun at Rhinegeist. Drink a Cincy Light for me.

Serious Question: They have this set up like New Years Eve to go at Midnight. The conference office is in the Central Time Zone. Now what?

Well, folks... here it is, the last day as an AAC member. What a long, strange trip it has been... I still have memories (and somewhere photos) of Big East Day on campus in the Varsity Village. I can't imagine there was an organized celebration for when they joined the American!

But an exciting time ahead for UC Athletics, though with the caveat that we don't know what lies ahead in college athletics and future realignment. Hopefully the Big 12 as we know it thrives for a while (minus UT and OU next year) and there are no imminent "super conferences" where the Big Ten, SEC and the major player$ screw things up.

I hope to see many of you down there tomorrow. Let's support the businesses that support UC. My wife and I will be taking time off tomorrow to join the celebration.

The big question is whether San Diego State will have a home after Saturday.
