As I write, the Cats are in the 10th at KU, leading, 18-14. After trailing, 5-1, UC erupted for 8 straight runs. Eventually, with UC leading 14-11, with 2 outs in the 9th, a Jayhawk homered with 2 on to tie it. The Bearcats are still batting.

The wind is blowing out. Kerrington Cross has 5 hits, 3 of them homers, including one in the 10th. He has 10 RBI.

Final: Bearcats 18-14. 1-2-3 10th. The Cats are now 26-20 (12-11). The two teams will play the finale in Lawrence tomorrow.

you gotta love the never say die attitude - that's not a mumbo jumbo stat - its heart and inner drive, and maybe just being too damn dumb to know that you're not supposed to get it done. they have a big series at home in two weeks - it'd be nice to see the ballpark packed

UC completely beat the formerly #25 Jayhawk this weekend, capping off the sweep, 13-4, with KU making it look closer with 2 runs in the 9th. So, the Bearcats are now 27-20 (13-11).

Since graduation is over, the Cats may just stay out West for the rest of the next 7 days. They'll play Oral Roberts in Tulsa on Tuesday, then head for Ft. Worth for a 3-game series at TCU staring Friday.

They finish the season with a 3-game home stance against K-State on May 15-17. Come out and cheer them on. They need to finish strong to get an at-large bid. They also play Indiana on the 13th.

The Bearcats jumped all over Oral Roberts tonight for an early 6-0 lead, then coasted to a 10-2 win in Tulsa. UC pounded out 16 hits against Golden Eagles pitching. The Cats now stand at 28-20 and head to Ft. Worth for the weekend series at TCU.

let's get a good turnout for this series - its TH / FR / SA - not FR / SA / SU. And, don't forget, there's a weekday game Tuesday (5/13) against Indiana. Let's help push them into the ncaas

The Bearcats were rolling early @ TCU tonight, leading 5-2 in the 5th inning. Then the roof collapsed. The Horned Frogs blasted UC pitching on their way to a 17-11 win.

After leading 6-3, the Bearcats stopped scoring, allowing the Frogs to tie it. UC had two on in the top of the 9th, but failed to score. TCU then walked it off with a leadoff HR. The Cats now are 28-22. The finale will be tomorrow afternoon.

UC salvaged the finale of the series in Ft. Worth, eking out a 9-8 victory over the Horned Frogs. The Bearcats have four remaining games in the regular season, all at home. The Hoosiers come in for a 6:00 first pitch on Tuesday. Then, K-State will arrive to round out the B12 slate.

The Cats are now 29-22. The Wildcats are 31-20 after taking two of three from the Mountaineers this weekend.
