Turnovers are killing him. Wondering exactly what the problem is. I don't remember him having this issue in his last two years.

He was never going to be an elite NFL QB. He's more of a game manager type that can create some plays with his legs on occasion. I thought he would have done well with the Saints and wish they picked him up. Regardless, he should be set for life if he is smart with his money as a QB2. Wish him the best.

Desmond reminds me of Trent Dilfer in that he's really not a QB1 and will knock around the league as game manager QB2 on a good team until QB1 has an injury and Des leads the team to a Super Bowl win.Brent Wyrick

I think his agent/team and the NFL will be able to keep him on a roster/practice squad to qualify for the NFL pension at this point, which I believe kicks in after 4 seasons get technical around roster/practice squad/etc. After than though, I'd love to see him back in Clifton on staff. I think he embodies a lot of what Marcus Freeman brought into recruiting/leadership/role model during his early years in coaching before rounding out the X's and O's.
