Depends on if you like the outdoors. When I first graduated from UC I took a job with a startup near San Francisco. Whenever I had free time you’d find me at Muir Woods or Point Reyes, or Golden Gate. I don’t know how many times I went to Yosemite in my 4 years there. I loved it.

      • Hunter Dickinson -- arguably the top player in the transfer portal -- is headed to the Big 12 (Kansas).

        • Also, for what it's worth, here are the destinations of some bottom of the roster Xavier guys that hit the portal:

KyKy Tandy - Jacksonville State (#90 in Class of 2019, per 247)
Dieonte Miles - Morehead State (#190 in Class of 2019)
Cesare Edwards - Missouri State (#121 in Class of 2021)
Elijah Tucker - Longwood (#131 in Class of 2021)

              • What is up at UCF? 5 departures and zero commits for next season?

He played his first two seasons at Wake Forest, the same years Ody Oguama was there. Will be a grad transfer.

Basketball plays mid week road games. The closest and easiest road trips will be Cincy, WVU, and Houston. The travel will be worse for them than any newcomer.

Interesting timing with a scholly opening when MAW entered the portal.

                          • @jeffborzello:

Deadline day! (Kind of.) The transfer portal window slams shut later today — but that doesn’t mean it’s the final day of transfers. Names will trickle out as paperwork gets processed. More importantly, portal window rules don’t apply to graduate transfers, so those won’t stop.

                            • Georgia has landed Division II player of the year RJ Sunahara. I believe he is the son of Reed Sunahara, the former UC volleyball coach who now coaches at West Virginia.
