If our team could shoot FT's at even a reasonable percentage we might have won another 5 games.Watching the NCAA tournament and seeing how automatic these guys are is crazy. It's ridiculous how we have to hold our breath every time we go to the line.Wes should be looking only at guys who shoot at least 70% from theline.
Keep adding criteria and you'll have to join me in the all wings fanclub!

A-10 would be a better fit than Big 12.

does anybody actually have a good feeling that wes can get guys from the portal, who can help next year? uc guessed wrong last year, on roster composition, and had a lousy year. with all of the talk about wes being on a very short leash, which could kinda involve a coaching change, which stud(s) do you see him attracting for next year? just curious.

Let me preface by saying I love CWM the man and had high hopes and hope he succeeds but... if you objectively look at his record here... its not good... Roster construction was bad, his record against good teams (Quad 1) is horrible, and if you look at player development... how many players have you see REALLY get better over the course of the year ? From year to year, what players have shown marked improvement ? Again.. I want CWM to succeed but I think if you look objectively... there is not a lot positive that you can say about this time here.... it's a shame because he's the type of guy you want being the face of program. This team for the past few years have had all of the trappings of a top program: Venue, cool uni's, Jordan brand, excellent mutlimedia web presence.... All surrounding an actual team that has not really earned all that.

BearcatBunch is compiling a portal tracker spreadsheet again this year: https://t.co/bC82gA2WM6
We reached out to Lathan Summerville, a 6'10 freshman from Rutgers. But Tennessee, Texas A&M, Michigan, Ohio St, Oklahoma St, USC, Washington, and Butler have also reached out. And Summerville isn't even a good rebounder (7% OReb rate) or shot blocker (under 3%). But he does make 86% at the line. Posted a 0.2 BPM. Competition for bigs is fierce.

So I’ll share, hopefully doesn’t get back to the player but I’m sure I’m not the only one they’ve said something to lol.
Jizzle, Dillon, Dan S all intending to enter portal. It’s a tough job for a coach these days. Dan said he loves Coach, yet is exploring options in the portal (highest bidder). NIL has ruined CBB IMO.
Is the NCAA responsible for this mess ?
Who, if any, does the NCAA answer to ?
It has to stop.

CWM may have guessed wrong but we don’t really know if he did. Would having a complete and healthy roster made a difference? Yes, UC had a disappointing season compared to expectations. Were those expectations misplaced? How much was due to roster composition vs running a scheme that fits your personnel? I don’t know the answers but there are other factors to consider.
