Did I read somewhere that the courtesy interviews were to be completed by Tuesday? That was when there were only 17-18 "candidates", not sure if that was extended now that there are 20. I don't think there will be a decision soon, but I sure hope the smoke of rumors start building a big fire for the Bearcat's chances of getting an invite.Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

YAWN........the Big 12 soap opera continues. Is there anyone really paying any attention to this (except for a handful of schools that feel they have a legitimate shot to get in) ? Kind of doubt it. Then again maybe that's the way the Big 12 wants it.

That could also be a reporter doing due diligence to write a story with something, anything, fresh. I'm not completely to the point of Yaw...wake me when there is an announcement, but I don't think Chuck Carlton has any inside information that would drive him to Cincinnati to do interviews. They should hook him up with Dan Hoard as his chaperone. He's about as good a UC sports ambassador as we've had short of Ono. The fact that he also does pro games definitely adds to his cred.Comment

Greg Swaim is claiming in the next month, or sooner, that it will be BYU and Cincinnati, 7 votes and 6 votes respectively so far (his words) and that Houston won't get the votes.
He of course covered himself by saying this is the Big12 and they never do anything fast or right so it could change... blah.. blah..blah..

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^. Man that is so true. UC got the Creme de La Creme when we got Dan Hoard. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the job he has done here. He's one of those rare guys whose talent could easily have landed him on a much larger stage but he decided to stay here. And we're all fortunate that he didComment
